WHO WE ARE
The Kerti Praja Foundation was established on the 1st January 1992 with the founders are: Prof. dr. Dewa Nyoman Wirawan, MPH, Dr.dr. Partha Muliawan, M.Sc (OM), Anak Agung Sagung Mas Partini.
To foster a society that is able to attain the highest level of health through evidence based approach in prevention, treatment and mitigation.
1. To provide health education for the community.
2. To provide basic health services.
3. To conduct research in the field of medicine and public health.
4. To work towards poverty alleviation.
Our activities are conducting research, providing outreach education and comprehensive health care for local communities in Bali. The Kerti Praja Foundation works directly to address sexual and reproductive health concerns within the general public as well as in most at risk communities such as female sex workers, MSM, transgender, high risk men and people who inject drugs. Kerti Praja outreach workers are specially trained in HIV/STIs prevention communication techniques and our clinic staff are specialized in providing voluntary counseling HIV testing (VCT), STI screening, management of opportunistic infections as well as ARV treatment.
Our clinic is open from 8.30 AM-2.30 PM on Monday-Friday and 8.30 AM-12 PM on Saturday. Although our clinic is also accessible to foreigners, we are a subsidize clinic for Indonesian citizens, therefore donations are greatly appreciated.
ONE STOP SERVICES FOR HIV/AIDS
Kerti Praja Foundation (KPF) provide continuum of care and one stop services for HIV/AIDS namely prevention, treatment and mitigation. KPF provide outreach education and condom and lubricant distribution for key population, clinic and mobile HIV testing, ART and opportunistic services and mitigation activities.
