In addition to Kerti Praja Foundation Care, Support and Treatment Programs, there is a need for people living with HIV/AIDS to earn and income and develop financial security. The Relife project at Kerti Praja Foundation is an initiative to provide income generating activities for HIV+ women and their families. The project also welcomes female sex workers who are seeking an alternative form of income.

Relife creates a variety of products from non-recyclable plastic and textile waste. The waste is collected by the women and thoroughly cleaned before being sewn together into products according to the buyer’s request. The Relife team is constantly developing new and innovative designs including bags of various sizes, containers, slippers, key rings and aprons. Prices range from Rp. 10,000 – 15,000 for small items and Rp. 40,000+ for larger bags with more intricate designs.
